The new Pastor in Barack Obama’s radical Church is Rev. Otis Moss. What does our likely next President think about him? “Well, you know, the new pastor — the young pastor, Reverend Otis Moss, is a wonderful young pastor.”
What does Otis Moss think? “Fuck America!” and “US of KKK” [he quoted from a song that uses those words, anyway]. Yup, those are the quotes of this “wonderful young pastor”.
Erik Rush, the African-American journalist who first wrote about Jeremiah Wright, told Sean Hannity: “This is indicative of Black Liberation Theology” and Otis Moss chose a song with those words on purpose.
Rev. Moss says that he, like Jeremiah Wright, believes in the “black social gospel”. What is “black social gospel”?
“The social gospel translates into very strong Marxist ideology,” explained Erik Rush.
Obama claims that he did not know what Wright was preaching. But it’s not just Wright. It’s not even just this particular church.
It’s the theology, a mix of black nationalism and socialism that made up all the sermons in the church Obama chose as an adult precisely because it subscribes to “Black Liberation Theology”.
Oh and by the way, you know what you get when you mix nationalism and socialism? National-socialism.
Nice, Barack, very nice!
The term “social gospel” is used in many other contexts to mean things other than Marxist ideology. The Episcopal Church teaches almost exclusively the social gospel, meaning social concerns (equality, concern for the environment, social justice issues, children’s welfare, women’s rights, etc.) that fall short of outright Marxism.
It is a mistake to let Moss, Wright, or any other individual commandeer the English language. Their interest is Black Liberation Theology (BLT), not the social gospel. We must not let them hijack the language.
BLT is black nationalism and Marxism mixed in large portions, and it spells bad news for America. It is specifically out to reject every thing except the black race and build a black, marxist utopia. The fact that marxism has been throughly discredited elsewhere seems to make no difference to these foolish people. They evidently think that they will make it work, even though more intelligent people than they have failed in it. Go figure!
Ignorance of the history of black church traditions at best. Social Gospel began over 200 years ago for various reasons:
1. Blacks were barred from white churches
2. It became the only public space that blacks had to fellowship, speak about issue effecting them, organize for justice and liberation etc…
It is the mixing of social issues and the Christina doctrine. It became the answer to years of opression, dehumanization and ostracization.
The Social Gospel is major in the black church. More prevalent in some than others. Have you ever heard of REV. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.? He preached the social gospel and be was blacklisted as a communist by people like yourself when he was on this earth.
Where you people see Marxism, I see collectivism which is need in the black community. Moving on…
LT,
How about something more recent? Yes, I get that blacks were discriminated against a hundred years ago. Anything in our lifetime? Anything since the 1960s? Why does the black “truth” never talks about anything that happened in the last half a century? Maybe because you have nothing to say since it was you who have been dominating whites through affirmative action, transfers of money from blacks to whites through hundreds of welfare programs and also massive black-on-white crime?
-
Collectivism for Black causes. Collectivism as in socialism. Black causes as in nationalism.
So National-Socialism?
Black National-Socialism?
For worker’s rights?
And maybe you should create a political party to promote collectivism for black workers.
You can call it the “Black National-Socialist Workers Party”.
