So did the enslavement of blacks begin before any white people arrived in the New World? That seems to be what blacks are suggesting in arguing that they were subject to 400 years of slavery. If black slavery ended everywhere in 1865 (much earlier in some places), does that mean that it began in 1465 when Christopher Columbus was 14 year old?
I wonder if 200 years from now, blacks will claim they have been subject to 600 years of slavery.
If being around white people is slavery, then leave. Nobody is keeping you here in captivity. Get a one-way ticket to freedom in Ivory Coast and Congo. Mexicans can move, Poles can move, Italians can move, English can move, everyone can move and none of them were subject to slavery in their native.
If being with whitey, even with affirmative action and diversity training, is so bad that you see yourself as a slave, go find a place where you can be free.
200 years from now, Blacks will claim that the once-great Kingdom of USA was prosperous, innovative, powerful, and run by Blacks until the half-White usurper Obama came along and led us into ruin and eventual takeover by Latinos. And there will be no Whites left to argue with them.
I’ve never gotten anywhere calling the bluff of blacks who whine how terrible it is here in USA for them, subjected to all the horrible racism, and telling them to leave.
I suspect it is because they are dissembling. I think they KNOW it’s better for ‘em here than anywhere else in the world. But if they were to acknowledge that, then the affirmative action and welfare gravy trains might come to a screeching halt.
When people (not just blacks…you know…since black people aren’t the only people who are sympathetic to the tragedy that was American slavery) use the number 400 they are usually referring to the years of enslavement as well as the years of Jim Crow that then followed. Which equals just about 360 years of legislative discrimination. They round up. Sue them. But i’m sure you knew this and you were just playing silly in order to write this horribly pointless entry.
It’s true … 360 rounds up to 400.
Jim Crow rounds up to serfdom.
Serfdom rounds up to slavery.
Black people taken to North America rounds up to all black people.
The past rounds up to the present.
Thus, Trans-Atlantic slavery ending in 1865 rounds up to Eurowhites being inferior.
(350 years of Trans-Mediterranean slavery … African Muslim perpetrators and Christian Eurowhite victims … doesn’t round to anything. And civil rights laws don’t protect white people. And lynchings in the past are more important than interracial gang rapes in the present. MOVE ALONG NOTHING TO SEE HERE.)

Here’s how it works: Blacks will never achieve parity with whites due to racial intelligence differences. Thus, no matter how many programs are instituted to placate them, they’ll blame the achievement disparity on white racism.

You make some interesting points, but, you overlook the obvious; here, let me help you:
In that the majority of these new Asian immigrants will be males, who are they gonna partner up with? Aren’t Asian Males deeply aggreived along these lines, as it is?

Except today the USA has had 55 years of legislative and judicial equality. Not to mention the endless raft of social engineering programs to promote black equality (affirmative action, diversity indoctrination, et alia).
Question: at what point will blacks stop complaining about the past? Will it take 360 or whatever years? Perhaps we can look forward to some magic date in the 2300s when blacks will finally achieve equality with Whites?

That’s not a bad idea; if nothing else, it would be parity. 360 years of de facto and de jure dehumanization, and to balance things out, 360 years of the opposite.

His “Is Love Colorblind?” series is must reading for you, since your latest infatuation seems to be making the case for the limited importation of a Hi-Tech Worker Bee class. The fact of the matter is that these guys are getting screwed at home due to the One Child Policy leading to more boys than girls being born, and over here because when given the choice Asian Women invariably choose to hookup w/White(r) guys. More status, which just goes to show, that for all the whining the HBDers do, being a White guy still means something-and is good for something-in the USA, today, in 2009. Just about any White guy worth his salt has had a case of Yellow Fever, lol.

You do realize that by this same logic, White women marry Black men because of status, meaning that “being a Black guy still means something–and is good for something–in the USA…” right?
Myself, I’m not really sure why people choose to marry out, but it’s a sin against the next generation regardless. Stick to your own; your children will thank you.
Thanks Obsidian, by the way, for pointing out one of (the many) problems with Asian immigration. It really isn’t in the interest of Blacks either: a technocratic Yellow elite will discriminate brazenly against Blacks, and Blacks won’t even have the “400 years of slavery” guilt trip for leverage.
By the way, don’t misinterpret my last point: I don’t pretend to be any self-appointed White representative of Black interests. But when it makes sense to make common cause, we’d be foolish not to.
Having an excuse to fail is never a good thing as I tell my kids and I’ve told them if anything ever happens to me or their mom they are not entitled to be an idiot going around using the excuse I lost my parents. The same applies to having slavery in their past it’s not an excuse to fail.
I had several relatives that fought in the civil war for the north and I am still waiting to hear ONE balck citizen ever say thanks to any white person for the sacrafice that white people made to free the slaves.
I hear blacks say that WE or OUR or US when they talk about equal rights it’s always what they have done but never the biggest reason that they are free is the sacrafice that whites made to allow this freedom. So I find it rather offensive that they take all the credit for something that my people died for to free them and then they turn around and talk bad about my race and grouping us all together.
I’ll be honest about this and I’m sure black people would agree that slavery although a bad thing sure made their lives better by being here in america. Who would want to live in africa in the places the slaves came from so it was traggic what happened to the slaves but it sure worked out for the future generations of blacks you here them say it all the time “I don’t want to go back to no africa”
The bottom line is there would be no end of slavery if it wasn’t for the sacrafice of good white people who helped them become free and the amount of dead white people out number blacks 10 to 1 in the fight for equal rights going back to the civil war but if you ever hear a black person say so or say thanks I will stop holding my breath.
As for crime I went to a mostly black school and was terrorized every day of my life by black kids and ganged up on but I don’t hold it against all black people. The would say don’t let the actions of the bad ones taint the good ones well I say that should apply on both sides of the race card but they don’t like applying that same standard instead they say “whites” that’s right folks we are all grouped together as the bad ones.
I was robbed, stabbed, and thrown off a 2nd floor balcony at my school and my only crime was dressing poorly and being short and chunky with bad teeth and for this I was tortured by black kids but I haven’t ever taken revenge or punished other black people for these things.
My question is this… if slavery had been the other way around “blacks owning white slaves” do you think whites would have ever been freed (I doubt it) do you think blacks would have gone to war to free white people or stood up for our equal rights or put their lives on the line for us.
I couldn’t get one black kid to help me when a group was beating on me or throwing me off the balcony so if slavery had been reversed I hate to say it but white people would still be farm equipment.
