A persistent urban legend holds that Drew was denied care by a nearby hospital because of his race, and bled to death. This is denied by one of the other black doctors with whom he was travelling, who stated: “We all received the very best of care. The doctors started treating us immediately. [...] He had a superior vena caval syndrome–blood was blocked getting back to his heart from his brain and upper extremities. To give him a transfusion would have killed him sooner. Even the most heroic efforts couldn’t have saved him. I can truthfully say that no efforts were spared in the treatment of Drew, and, contrary to popular myth, the fact that he was a Negro did not in any way limit the care that was given to him.”[4] The apocryphal story of his death was repeated in an episode of the television series M*A*S*H episode, “Dear Dad… Three”, and in the Philip Roth novel, The Human Stain.
So in conclusion, never mind the truth, we will attack in mass media the doctors who spared no effort to save the black guy, just so that we could push our anti-white propaganda.
But this actually proves that what blacks say is false. If there were real cases of black being denied care, they wouldn’t have to make up lies.
There’s a similar apocryphal story concerning the death
of blues singer Bessie Smith. I’m skeptical of that one too.
There was a Black hospital a mile from the crash site.
I’m sure there may have been real cases of Blacks being
denied care, but these made up examples don’t help that
case.
Anyways, if we Whites are so bad, we should just be shunned.
Nobody ever let the facts get in the way of a good evil-Whitey story.
If this guy is black then I’m Wesley Snipes. I’m not paying taxes any more!
Its more extensive then that. I mean, when I hear some of the ‘historical facts’ that are tossed out by aggrieved minorities and liberals with an agenda, I am always dazed by the ahistorical and anachronistic nature. I make factual errors now and then, or various misattributions — but rarely do I keep it up when corrected. Which of course isn’t to say their aren’t any meaningful claims.
The latest one I keep running into is this:
“Like the African Americans, Hispanic Americans have been struggling against discrimination and poverty, lack of education, and low economic power.”
Apparently, since they don’t currently make up 16% of the CEOs in the US, they have been grievously discriminated against — that the majority of the population arrived after 85′ doesn’t seem to matter. I guess AA programs should be initiated, while they are still in Mexico or elsewhere so to prevent this outrage.
Another is of course the historical travesties of the ‘white man’ over the past 2000 years. The timeline aside, people seem not to notice that the ‘travesties’ are only so in respect to modernity (and our modern sensibility), which the world rapidly and mysteriously progressed to over the last 400 years — or course, in spite of the best efforts of those white guys.
So following up on comments we made previously — (white) liberals in general take the cake for playing politics on the edge. They perpetuate this thinking to push their progressive politics and it has spread globally — When I was living in China, people would often mention white (European) crimes against humanity, which they just took for face value — since why else would ‘white’ medias constantly mention them. In fact, they would argue that — based on how their papers worked (ah, memories of the Shanghai Times)– these must just be the tips of the iceberg.
But then maybe we are approaching the dawn of a new age and world altruism is around the corner …
